Sharon L. Fowler, 79, of Machesney Park, IL, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on August 29, 2025.

She was born on September 11, 1945, the beloved daughter of Betty Jane Vowels and Arthur L. Johnson.

Sharon was known for her kind heart, vibrant personality, and generous spirit. She was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan and had a deep love for travel. More than anything, she treasured time spent with her family and those she held dear.

She shared more than 53 wonderful years of love and partnership with her sweetheart, Jim Fisk.

Born and raised in Belvidere, Sharon graduated from Belvidere High School and dedicated over 35 years of her professional life as an administrative assistant for Dr. Atwood.

Sharon will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her partner, Jim Fisk; sons, David Fowler and Scott Lunsford; grandchildren, Douglas, Megan, Kyle, Josh, Brandon, Stephanie, Jackson, Justin, and Colby, numerous great Grandchildren, brother, Melvin Johnson, as well as extended family members and friends she loved dearly.

She is welcomed into heaven by her parents, Betty and Arthur Johnson and brother, Mickey Johnson.

Sharon's visitation will be Monday, September 8th at 10am, with Funeral Service to follow at 11am at Anderson Funeral Home. Located at 218 W. Hurlbut Ave. Belvidere, IL 61008. Burial at Shattuck Grove Cemetery.
