Sharon Kay Clark, 82, of Belvidere, IL, passed away December 2, 2023. She was born on July 2, 1941 in Winona, Minnesota. The daughter of Lafayett Boyd VanFleet and Thelma Ione (Hurst.) She married Roger Clark, and together they shared 3 children. She worked many jobs to support her family and had a strong work ethic. She was employed by Shopko, Farm & Fleet, Boone bank, and held many other jobs in her life. She was a deeply devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed crafts, cryptograms, and other puzzles. She loved to cook and bake for her family. Sharon was an avid Los Angeles Dodgers, and Green Bay Packers fan.

Sharon was talented in refinishing furniture and would reupholster, and stain and polish older pieces to perfection. She was also a talented accordion player. She will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her children, Greg Clark, Debra Clark, and James (Victoria) Clark; grandchildren, Tess, Wyatt, Joseph, Crystal, Phillip, Andrew, Brandelyn, and Shelby, 11 great grandchildren with one on the way; sister, Dixie (Howard) Chambers; brother-in-law, Paul Felton, sister-in-laws, Audrey Clark and Elinore Rasmusen, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members whom she loved dearly.

She is welcomed into heaven by her husband, Roger Clark; her parents, Thelma and Lafyette VanFleet,  and grandson Ian.
