Shane Michael Farel, 40, of Pecatonica died Saturday, October 11, 2014 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born May 19, 1974 in Anaheim, California; the son of Norman and Cheryl (Huss) Farel. Shane was a machinist for World Class Tool Co. of Rockford. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, watching football and spending time with friends and family. He is survived by his fiancée, Barb Hinde, Pecatonica; three children, Xandra, Mark and Crystal, parents, Norman and Cheryl Farel, of Belvidere; 2 grandchildren, Aubrie Rose and Conner Wayne, a special aunt and uncle, Beda and Jim Brown; and a host of other relatives and special friends.
