Selma Meyer, 92, of Belvidere, died Saturday, March 26, 2011 in Maple Crest Heath Care Center, Belvidere. She was born August 8, 1918 in Bloomingdale, Illinois, the daughter of Albert and Pauline (Meier) Marquardt. Selma married Erwin Meyer on April 26, 1947. She worked as a waitress for Glen Oaks Country Club and Medina Country Club. Selma was a member of the Lutheran faith. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. Selma is preceded in death by her husband and four brothers, Harry, William, Edwin and Fred Marquardt.
