Sarah J. Luktisch, 28, of Boaz, Alabama, died Friday, August 29, 2014 in Cancer Treatment Centers of America, Zion, Illinois following a courageous battle with cancer. Born March 4, 1986 in Charlotte, North Carolina; the daughter of Ray and Dorothy (Peterson) Lanning, Jr. Sarah married Peter G. Luktisch in Alabama on September 19, 2009. She was employed as a Welder. Sarah belonged to the First Baptist Church of Boaz. Sarah is survived by her husband, Pete, 3 children, Ethan, Aliyah and Eli Lanning, all of Boaz; her mother, Dorothy Lanning; 7 siblings, Angie Paxton, Becky Schmillen, Corinne Decker, Ray Lanning, III, Joylene Bernard, Julie Wren and William Morrison.
