Sarah A. Cacciapaglia, of Las Vegas, Nevada, formerly of Rockford, died February 11, 2007 in Odessey Healthcare Center following a lingering illness. Born May 28, 1921 in Rockford, Illinois, the daughter of Rosario and Maria (Cacciatore) Chiarelli. She was employed as a Pit-Boss at various casinos in Las Vegas. As a resident of Rockford, she owned several local Bars. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Rockford. She also served in the WACS during WWII. Sarah is survived by two grandchildren, Patrick (Diane) Cooling and Michael (Nora) Cooling; a great-granddaughter, Isabel Cooling; a daughter-in-law, Nancy Cooling and a sister, Roseanne Klein; a niece, Maria (John) Howard, Rockford; two nephews, John (Lisa) Klein, Minnesota; Tim Klein, Rockford. She is preceded in death by son, Wilfred "Junior" Cooling and brother John Chiarelli and parents.
