Sara K. Williams, 42, of Poplar Grove, died Saturday, August 25, 2012 in her home after a long battle with cancer. Born September 11, 1969 in Rockford, daughter of Benjamin and Donna (Fidder) Lawhorn. Married Mark Williams on April 3o, 1994 in Belvidere. Worked as a medical assistant for Crusader Clinic, member of First Presbyterian Church. Sara loved to shop; spending time with her family and friends was her joy, especially going camping with her girls. She was active in the PTO in the Caledonia schools and was always helping out in her daughters' classrooms.Survived by her loving husband Mark, beloved daughters Kayla and Kelsey, father Ben (Joan) Lawhorn of FL, sister Karen (Daryl) Stevens of Caledonia, several nieces and nephews, and special friends Becky Backs, Amber Anderson, and Lori Axtell. Predeceased by her mother Donna.

Donations may be given to the family to establish a memorial in Sara's name.
