Belvidere, IllinoisSara Fernandez Lagunas, 67, of Belvidere, IL died early Saturday morning, January 16, 2010 in SwedishAmerican Hospital after a lengthy illness. Sara was born November 28, 1942 in Gurerrero, Mexico, the daughter of Reynaldo and Sylvestra (Barrera) Fernandez. She married Pablo Lagunas on June 2, 1960 in Guerrero. Sara was member of St. James Catholic Church, Belvidere.She is loved and will be missed by her husband, Pablo; children Fidel, Benito, Catalina, Roberto, Francisco, Emma and David; brother Severiano. Sara is also survived by numerous grandchildren and predeceased by her parents.
