Sandra Mae Zahurones, 81, was embraced in the loving arms of her higher power and welcomed into heaven on September 17, 2026.

Sandra was born in Menomonie, Wisconsin, on August 3, 1945. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lester, her son, Troy, her brother, Jerry, and her sister, Jackie.

Sandra will be deeply missed by her sisters, Shirley and Sharon; her sons, Phillip, Dean, and Steven (Dyan); her grandchildren, Kris and Tim, Kara and Kersten, Jade and Kayn; her great-grandchildren, Keaton, Esa, Rydell, Amarissa, Julie, Greyson and Jackson; as well as her extended family and many dear friends.

Sandra left a meaningful impression on everyone she met. She had a special way of making the people around her feel truly seen, heard, and loved. Her warmth, kindness, and love for others will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.

Cremation rites have been accorded to Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services.

In celebration of Sandra’s life, a gathering will be held beginning at noon on Sunday, October 25, at Coach’s Corner in Belvidere.
