Sandra Whitfield, 64, of Belvidere, Illinois, died peacefully October 30, 2019 in Rockford, Illinois. She was born April 20, 1955 to Robert and Shirley (Brogley) Richards in Platteville, Wisconsin. Sandra graduated High school in Platteville and was a Homemaker.

Sandra loved baking, especially Christmas cookies with her daughter, Heather. She loved shopping and gambling and especially loved her family and grandkids. She liked to be around them often.

She is survived by her son, Teddy Whitfield, Jr.; daughter, Heather (Brad) Verhagen; grandchildren, Teddy III, Lucy, Bryton and Harper; ; sisters, Kristi Anderson and Kay Hundt; and brother, Terry Richards.

Sandra is preceded in death by her husband, Teddy, Sr.; parents; sister, Patricia Schildgen; and brother, Craig Richards.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, November 6 at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave., Belvidere, IL, 61008.Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, November 7 at the funeral home. Reverend Dudley Matties will officiate. Burial at Highland Garden of Memories.
