Ryan "Ryno" Halverson, 35, of Rockford died unexpectedly on Friday, May 6, 2011 in his home. He was born on December 6, 1975 in Belvidere, Illinois; the son of Warren "Joe"Halverson and Glenda (Osborn) Lorenzini. Ryan attended Belvidere schools. He was married to Christa M. Shue in Belvidere, Illinois on April 3, 2000. Ryan worked for Select Media as a Magazine Merchandiser for the past 2 years. Prior to that, he worked for Advantage Auto. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, working and riding motorcycles, attending races at Sycamore and Byron, playing Texas Hold'em and video gaming. He was becoming an accomplished tattoo artist. Ryan is survived by his wife, Christa, of Rockford; a son, Cody Gibson, Garden Prairie; his mother, Glenda (Ted) Lorenzini, Belvidere; sister, Holly Halverson, Belvidere; brother, Jason (Dawn) Halverson, Bridgeport, Alabama; maternal grandparents, Gene and Joyce Wilson; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Warren "Joe" Halverson and paternal grandmother, Beulah Halverson; maternal grandfather, Jack Osborn; aunt, Linda Halverson and cousin, Dustin Dickason.
