Rockford, IllinoisRuth E. Robinson, 87, of Rockford, IL died peacefully, Wednesday, August 7, 2013 in her home after a lingering illness. Ruth was born November 8, 1925 in Belvidere, IL, the daughter of Carl and Emily Larson. She married Burton Robinson on September 4, 1945 in Belvidere. Ruth worked for Atwood Machine, Rockford Greenhouse and retired from Brearly Scale. Ruth will be remembered for her devotion to her family.Ruth is loved and will be missed by her sons, Ronald (Regina), John and Paul; grandchildren, Paul II, Jennifer, Ronnie, Kristin, Keith, Debra; great-grandchildren, Koral, Sophia, Bruddy, Kerstin; special friend and sister in-law Ginny Hansen-Teslow. Ruth is preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Emily ; husband, Burt; brothers Roy and David.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 13, 2013 in Buck-Wheeler-Hyland Funeral Home, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave., Belvidere, IL with Rev. Jeremy Thompson of Chapelwood Church officiating. Burial will be in Belvidere Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
