Russell L. Oliger, 65, of Garden Prairie, IL, formerly of Belvidere, passed away peacefully Monday evening, December 9, 2013, surrounded by his family Dylan, Danielle and Kristy at his side. He was born August 5, 1948 in Long Beach, California, son of Louis L.T. and Margie (Braaten) Oliger. Russ worked at GIC, Placematt and was co-owner of the Pet Stop with his father. He was with a car club called Night Owls in California. He loved his low rider. He is loved and will be missed by his children, Danielle (Tommy Smalley) Oliger, Dylan Oliger, Sara Beale, Jennifer (Justin McMillan) Beale; brother, Steven (Angie) Oliger; grandchildren, Dakota Oliger, Arianna Smalley, Mariah McMillan, Blake McMillan, Austin May; niece, Kristy Fields; great-niece, Ariel Fields, loving mothers of his children, Christine Brei and Barb Bays
