Obituary

Rudolph "Rudy" Von Eyser, 88, of Belvidere, IL passed away
peacefully on December 29, 2019 in Rockford, IL. He was born on March 17, 1931
in Paris, IL to William and Anna (Kollarziek) Von Eyser. Rudy married his sweetheart,
Ingeborg Kroeschel, on September 10, 1958 in Leverkusen, Germany. Rudy
faithfully served our country in the United States Army as a Corporal during
the Korean War. After his service in the military, he began working for the
Regensteiner Press with his father and then the Chicago Press Corporation as a
Pre-Press Foreman. Rudy found his spiritual home at the Queen of the Rosary
Church in Elk Grove Village, IL. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, golfing, woodworking,
traveling and cheering on his favorite teams, the Bears, Cubs, and White Sox.
But most importantly, he loved spending time with his family.

Rudy will be dearly missed by his wife, Ingeborg; his sons, Michael (Erica Creahan) Von Eyser, Rudolph Joseph (Kelly Anne (Nemec)) Von Eyser, Karl (Kelly Louise) Von Eyser, and Kurt (Pettie Mihalakakos) Von Eyser; his sister, Gertrude Swanson; his grandchildren, Brett, Ava, Rudolph, Jessica, Dustin, Katie, William, and Nicole; his great-grandchildren, Addison, Kolton, Clark, Haley, and Aycen; his nephews, Bill Foss, Randy Fausher, Rudy Fausher, Louie Fausher, and Rusty Fausher; his nieces, Diane Fausher, Annaliese Schamerloh, Marion Kroeschel, Vicki Swanson Focht, Lynn Swanson, and Carol Swanson Natalino.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Anna;
and his sisters, Annaliese and Marianne.

The visitation will be from 1-1:45 p.m., on Thursday, January
2, 2020 at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave.,
Belvidere, IL, 61008. The burial will take place at Belvidere Cemetery. Deacon Olson
will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Rudy's name may
be gifted to the family to establish the memorial at a later date. To light a
