Ruby M. Peterson, 84, of Belvidere, died Wednesday, April 21, 2010 in Maplecrest Care Centre. Born March 4, 1926 to Andrew and Inez (Storm) Walraven in Genoa, IL. Married Robert Peterson on March 19, 1946, he died March 18, 2003. Member of Zion Lutheran Church. Graduate of Belvidere High School. Survivors include son Roger (Linda) Peterson of Rockford, grandson Matthew Powder; brother Donald Walraven, sister Millie May and numerous nieces and nephews.Predeceased by her parents and sisters Blanche Hat and Genevieve Wood.
