Obituary

Roy F. Cullison, 85, of Rock Falls, formerly of Belvidere, died Thursday June 2, 2005 at CGH Medical Center in Sterling. He was born January 14, 1920, in DeKalb County, the son of Frank and Myra (Keast) Cullison. He married Loretta Pritchard on January 1, 1942. He served in the US Army Air Corps during WWII. He was employed by Commonwealth Edison for 35 years and served as the Belvidere City Forester for 22 years. He was a member of the United Methodist Church, served as superintendent of ponies at Boone County Fair, and Cub Master Pack 451.He is survived by his wife; a daughter; Bonnie (Kim) Groharing, a son; Steve (Becky) Cullison, five grandchildren; Janna Groharing, Marcy (John) Moorhead, Taylor, Blair, and Paige Cullison, great-granddaughter; Alyssa Moorhead, and brother; Dale (Marge) Cullison. He is predeceased by a sister Ethel Rewerts, and a brother Virgil Cullison.
