Rose Dolmant, 84 of Poplar Grove, Illinois, died Thursday, April 28, 2005 in Nelson-Debes Center following a short illness. Born January 28, 1921 in Rockford, Illinois to Charle and Maria (Palmeri) DeStefano. She was a resident of Poplar Grove, moving here from Addison, Illinois in 1997. Rose was employed as a factory worker for Richardson Co. of Melrose Park, Illinois and later, worked as a clerk for John's Food and Liquor, until retiring in 1985. Member of St. James Catholic Church in Belvidere and former member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Melrose Park. She enjoyed cooking, knitting, crossword and word search puzzles. She was dedicated to her family. She is survived by, Son, Carl Dolmant, Poplar Grove, ; a granddaughter, Rion (Carlos) Tovar, Poplar Grove; two grandsons, Joseph (Sue) Dolmant, Henderson, Nevada; and William Dolmant, Poplar Grove, six great grandchildren, Alex and Adrianna Tovar, Charles, Michael, William, Jr. and Andrew Dolmant; a brother, Joe DeStafano. Preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
