Rosemont, ILRonnie G. Mullins, 62, of Rosemont died Tuesday evening, May 4, 2010 in his home after a sudden illness. Ronnie was born February 23, 1948 in Belvidere, IL the son of Victor G. and Ruby (Smith) Mullins. Ronnie was a retired chef working for many noted restaurants and companies. He was a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and on occasion was invited to instruct at several local junior colleges. In his spare time he enjoyed all the outdoors had to offer by camping and fishing. He was a sports fan and a supporter of the Cubs.Survivors include his brother, Bobby H. (Kay) Mullins of Machesney Park; sister, Linda S. (Larry) Bowers of Belvidere; best friend, Ron (Kay) Barton and Danielle; nieces and nephews, Rhonda Dellepiane (Kerry), Rebecca (Ryan) Morey, Derek Mullins, Duane (Corey) Abernathy, Paul Abernathy, David, Zach, Carrie Bowers, Michael Heindenreich. Ronnie is predeceased by his parents, grandparents and nephew Richard Heindenreich.
