Ronda A. Walters, 65, of Belvidere, IL passed away peacefully and unexpectedly Wednesday, February 16, 2022, in her home. Ronda was born April 16, 1956, in Belvidere, the daughter of Ronald A. and Shirley (Johanningsmeier) Carlson. Ronda graduated from Belvidere High School with the class of 1975. Over the years she held many different jobs in the manufacturing world. She was a former member of St. John's United Church of Christ. Ronda enjoyed fishing, NASCAR and was a Minnesota Vikings fan.

Ronda is loved and will be missed by her mother, Shirley McKenzie; daughter, Maggie (Stephen) Kempin; grandchildren, Emmalynn, Ashley, and Katherine; sisters, Debbie (Joe) Stassi, Cindy Saunders, Valerie Gunn; sister in-law, Barb Carlson-Eicksteadt; nieces and nephews. Ronda is preceded in death by her father, Ronald; stepfather, Richard McKenzie; brother, Michael Carlson, niece, Jennifer Carlson; numerous aunts, uncles, and grandparents.

A celebration of Ronda's life will be held at a later date.
