Poplar Grove, IllinoisRonald Lee Frederick, 66, of Poplar Grove, IL died peacefully early Friday morning, April 12, 2013 in OSF St. Anthony Medical Center, Rockford, IL after a courageous battle with cancer. Ronald was born October 17, 1946 in Fort Pierre, S.D. the son of Freeman Joseph and Dorothy (Anderson) Frederick. Ronald married Vianna Groves on November 22, 1965 in Pierre, SD; she preceded him in death on January 6, 2004. Ronald retired from Camcar as a supervisor after forty plus years of employment. Ronald was a member of the Belvidere Moose Club and loved to golf. He cherished the time spent with his family and friends.Ronald is loved and will be missed by his children Kevin (Sherri Lusow) Frederick of Belvidere, IL, Ronald Frederick of Poplar Grove, IL, Michelle (Scott Neale) Frederick of Poplar Grove, IL, Heather( Doug Mahurin) Frederick of South Beloit, IL, Dawn (Tim Carow) Frederick of Roscoe, IL, and Joe Frederick of Roscoe, IL; grandchildren Colton, Morgan, Madison, Logan, Johnathon, Catelynn, Isabella, Emalee; brothers and sisters Carol Schwartzkoph, Dean (Deannie) Frederick, Sharon Frederick, Gary (Kesiah) Frederick, Lynn (Mary) Frederick and sister in-law Marlys Frederick all of South Dakota; loving companion Doneta Brandt of Poplar Grove, IL Ronald is predeceased by his parents, wife Vianna and brother Darrell Frederick.
