Ronald E Cushman, 86, of Belvidere, Illinois went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 26, 2018. He was born on May 28, 1931 in Belvidere, son of Delbert and Dorothy (Atwood) Cushman. He married Charlene Wood on June 18, 1979 in Belvidere. Ronald graduated from Belvidere High School and was employed at Barber Colman in Rockford, Illinois.

Ronald proudly served in the Army, was a member of Evangelical Covenant Church for twenty years, and was a fine student of scripture.  He loved bowling, fishing, wood working, cards and ice cream.

Ronald will be dearly missed by his daughters, Wendy Morgan, Tobi Cushman and Penny (Kevin) Lee; sons, Ronald (Angie) Cushman II, Butch Hart and Chuck (Shelley) Hart; sister in law, Marlene; numerous grandchildren; great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Richard Cushman; son, Leon Hart; and grandson, Chad Morgan.

Visitation will be from 9 to 10 A.M., Friday, March 2, 2018 at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave., Belvidere.  A Graveside ceremony will follow at Belvidere Cemetery with Rev. Scott Nellis officiating.
