Ronald Lee Bone, 82, of Belvidere, IL, went to be with the Lord on May 29, 2025. He was born in Iowa, the beloved son of Helen and Herbert Bone.

Ronald was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. On December 10, 1966, he married the love of his life, Connie (Cummings). Together, they shared 58 wonderful years of marriage and were blessed with one son.

Ronald worked for over 30 years as a truck driver with CWTS. He was known for his strong work ethic, unwavering dedication, and deep commitment to providing for his family. A longtime member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Ronald was a man of strong faith.

In his free time, Ronald enjoyed the simple pleasures of life—fishing, playing cards, bingo, and spending time with loved ones. His kind heart, gentle spirit, and steady presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Ronald is survived by his wife, Constance "Connie" Bone; their son, Robin (Tomasz) Bone, grandchildren, Brandon (Jen) Riley, and Amanda Slater; brothers, Bill (Cindy) Bone and Jerry Bone; sisters, Carolyn (Darrell) Ellis, and Sharon Jacobs; son-in-law, Gary Riley, sisters-in-law, Linda Hicks, Nita Long, and Marilyn Hunt; and longtime friend, Robert Lynch. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends whom he loved dearly.

He is welcomed into heaven by his parents, Helen and Herbert Bone; brothers, Kenneth, Bob, and Gerald Bone, as well as step-daughter, Terry Riley.

Ronald's visitation will be Friday, June 6th at 10am at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Located at 1045 Belvidere Rd, Belvidere, IL 61008. Funeral service to follow at 11am with Burial at Belvidere Cemetery.
