Roger Lee Ristow, Sr. 86, of Belvidere, Illinois died
January 22, 2019 in Rockford, IL. Born August 29, 1932 in Wausau, Wisconsin. He
was the son of the late Elgard and Ruth (Sanders) Ristow. On March 1, 1955, in
Pine City, Minnesota, Roger married the love of his life, Bernice (Pieschalla).
The two of them were married for 63 years.

Roger worked in the maintenance department for Arnold
Engineering in Marengo, Illinois. He worked for the company for 27 years. He
enjoyed horses and really enjoyed working with his hands. He worked on his cars
and would help any friend in need.

He will be missed by his loving wife; his children, Charles
Ristow of Rockford, IL, Roger (Kathy)
Ristow, Jr. of Creve Coeur, IL, Cynthia (Mark) Lungstrom of Belvidere, IL, and
Christine Ristow of Rio, WI.; his sister Beulah Treu of Wausau, WI.; 10
grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his in-laws Anton
and Stella Pieschalla.
