Roger "Rock"
Keegan
May 27, 1953 — Jun 27, 2018
Garden Prairie, IL
Roger A. "Rock" Keegan, 65 passed away peacefully, Wednesday afternoon, June 27, 2018. Rock was born on May 27, 1953 the son of William J and Margery (Bolz) Keegan, Sr. Rock and Maynard Mason enlisted into the US Marine Corps in 1971; to this day Rock hated bananas on account of the four pounds he had to eat to make the weight requirement of the Corps. Rock served our country and the Marine Corps from 1971 until his honorable discharge in 1976. Rock shared life with his wife and soulmate, Teri Keegan. They met in 1970 at Pacemaker, their first job, at the time Teri had a mean orange "Judge" that she drove, he liked the car and Teri too. A good day for Rock was driving truck; he owned and operated "Rock Hard Haulin" and then finishing the day on the farm helping his father in-law Jim Turner. Rock loved the Marine Corps, Jeeps, his family, Harleys, Pepsi and cigarettes; that is why you are reading this.
His wife, Teri; daughters, Kelli (Ben) Knaup their children, Emma and Sam; Katie (Mike) Gann, Karrie Hatley; mother, Margery; brothers, Greg (Donna), John, Brian (Lauri); mother in-law, Marilyn Turner; sisters in-law, Lori Turner, Julie Turner, Nancy (Mike) Hearn; the many special nieces and nephews and his cat "Harley", will miss Rock and love him deeply.
