Rodolfo B. Ramirez, 74 de Belvidere IL, partió para estar con el Señor el 6 de enero de 2023. Nació el 22 de agosto de 1948 en Piedras Negras, Coahuila de Josefina Barajas y Raul Ramirez. Rodolfo fue un esposo, padre, abuelo y amigo profundamente amoroso. El 29 de diciembre de 1972 se casó con el amor de su vida María Martínez. Juntos compartieron 3 hijos y 50 años de matrimonio. Comenzaron su familia en Eagle Pass, Texas y luego se mudaron a Belvidere IL. Era un hombre trabajador que mantenía a su familia y dedicó más de 36 años a trabajar en Chrysler en Belvidere. Él será extrañado por muchos.

Le sobrevive su esposa; Maria Ramirez, sus hijos Rudy(Mary) Ramirez Jr., Maribel(Jeffrey) Celletti y Janet (Victor) Castro, nietos; Alex y Melanie Portales, Christian, Naomi y Allie Castro, e Isabella y Cameron Ramirez, bisnietos; Mia Diggs y Marcello y Alonzo Portales. Además de numerosas sobrinas, sobrinos y familia extendida a quienes amaba mucho.

El velorio de Rodolfo se llevará a cabo el lunes 16 de enero de 2023 entre las 5 y las 7 p. m. en Anderson Funeral Home. Ubicado en 218 W. Hurlbut Ave. Belvidere IL.

La misa fúnebre será el martes 17 de enero de 2023 a las 9 a. m. en la iglesia católica St. James ubicada en 402 Church St, Belvidere, IL 61008.

Entierro a seguir en el cementerio de St. James.

Rodolfo B. Ramirez, 74 of Belvidere IL, went to be with the Lord on January 6, 2023. He was born on August 22, 1948 in Piedras Negras, Coahuila to Josefina Barajas and Raul Ramirez. Rodolfo was a deeply loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. On December 29, 1972 he married the love of his life Maria Martinez. Together they shared 3 children and 50 years in marriage. They started their family in Eagle Pass, Texas and later moved to Belvidere IL. He was a hard working man who provided for his family and dedicated over 36 years working at Chrysler in Belvidere. He will be missed by many.

He is survived by his wife; Maria Ramirez, their children Rudy(Mary)  Ramirez Jr., Maribel(Jeffrey) Celletti, and Janet (Victor) Castro, grandchildren; Alex and Melanie Portales, Christian, Naomi, and Allie Castro, and Isabella and Cameron Ramirez, great grandchildren; Mia Diggs, and Marcello and Alonzo Portales. As well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family whom he loved dearly.

A visitation for Rodolfo will be held Monday, January 16, 2023 between the hours of 5-7pm at Anderson Funeral Home. Located at 218 W. Hurlbut Ave. Belvidere IL.

Funeral mass will be Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at 9am at St. James Catholic Church located at 402 Church St, Belvidere, IL 61008.

Burial to follow at St. James Cemetery.
