Roberta Haslett, age 73, of Freeport and formerly of Belvidere, Illinois died Saturday morning, May 14, 2005 in Stephenson Nursing Center after a lingering illness. Roberta was born July 4, 1931 in Belvidere the daughter of William and Carrie (Taylor) Bremmer. For many years she worked at Foster and Gallagher Mail Order in Peoria, IL. She was a member of the Freeport Women of the Moose.Survivors include her children, Ronald Haslett of Creve Coeur, IL, Robert Haslett of Pekin, IL, "J.R." Haslett of Normal, IL, Larry D. Haslett of Peoria, IL, Marsha Young of East Peoria, IL, Connie Burrow of Freeport, IL, Carol Patton of Peoria, IL Donna Farraher of East Peoria, IL, Linda Reither of Danvers, IL and Vicky Acevedo of Gainesville, GA; brother Bill Bremmer and sister Marguerite Welch, Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Roberta is predeceased by her parents.
