Robert W. Zarlenga, 81, of Belvidere passed away November 13, 2018, at Swedish American Hospital, Belvidere, IL. He was born September 17, 1937 to Dominick and Elizabeth (Passanante) Zarlenga. He Graduated from Austin High School Chicago in 1955. He married Joanne P. Cusick-Williams on June 21, 1958 at St. Catherine of Sienna Church, Oak Park, IL. Robert is survived by his children, Elizabeth (Mark) Campbell, Robert (Emmy) Zarlenga, and Susan Zarlenga; a brother, Ronald Zarlenga; grandchildren, Lauren Garrett and Kristin Feltes; great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Bradley, Peyton, and Thomas Garrett; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Joanne; and a sister, Marie.

Robert worked in the telecom industry for years for Automatic Electric, GTE, and Northern Telecom. He finished his working years with the U.S. Postal Service. He loved playing Santa for many years, his casino trips, and never found a bargain he didn't take advantage of.

Funeral service will be held at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services 218 W. Hurlbut Ave. Belvidere, IL on Monday, November 19, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service.
