Robert J. Wojcik, 79, of Poplar Grove, IL, formerly of Lake Zurich IL,  passed away February 21, 2023. He was born on November 13, 1943 in Chicago, IL. The son of Louis and Katherine Wojcik. Robert was a deeply dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. On April 5, 1964 he married the love of his life, Geraldine, and together they shared 4 children and 58 years in marriage. Robert was selfless and hard working. He volunteered with the Lake Zurich Lions Club, and worked for many years as a hydraulic and electric engineer. He enjoyed collecting model trains. Robert loved to make people smile, whether it be with a joke or a kind gesture. He will be missed by many.

He is survived by his wife; Geraldine Wojcik, their children; Susan (Robert) Stevens of Parker Colorado, Robert L (Victoria) Wojcik of Johnsburg, Illinois, Therese (Alex) Wlodzimerski of Capron, Illinois, Matthew (Alexandria) of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, grandchildren; Robert (Kendra) Wojcik, Robert Stevens, Brittani Wojcik, Lexi Wlodzimierski, Cecilia Wojcik, and great grandchildren; Robert L. II and Bailey Wojcik.

He is predeceased by his parents, Louis and Katherine Wojcik.

Cremation rites have been accorded.
