Robert J. Seyersdahl, 84, of Roscoe, Illinois, died Monday, June 28, 2010 in O.S.F. St. Anthony Medical Center Emergency Department following a long illness. He was born on February 21, 1926 in Madison County, Nebraska, son of Grover Cleveland and Myrtle Elsie (Ockerman) Seyersdahl. Robert graduated from Syracuse Nebraska High School, class of 1944. He married Jacquelin H. Udesen in Elgin, Illinois on November 26, 1966. Robert was employed by the Eagle Foods Company as a retail clerk. He retired in 1999. In his spare time, he enjoyed camping and gardening. Robert is survived by his wife, Jacquelin, of Roscoe; a son, Dennis L. Seyersdahl, of Utah; and a daughter, Melinda K. Talley-Seyersdahl, of Belvidere, Illinois; seven grandchildren, Dennis, Jr., John, Suzan, Kelsey, Landon, Andrew and Stacie and many great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ronald Albright and Ed Seyersdahl. He is preceded in death by his parents, a son, Robert J. Seyersdahl and a daughter, Maren Joy Seyersdahl.
