Caledonia, IllinoisRobert Eugene "Bob" Luckey, 76, of Caledonia died Sunday morning, June 25, 2006 at Alden-Nelson-Debes Care Center in Rockford. Bob was born August 11, 1929 in Rochelle, IL the son of Roland G. and Violet (McCaslin) Luckey. He lived in Rochelle, Ashton area until 1942 and then moved to the Cherry Valley area. He married Doris J. Wilson on January 21, 1950 in Rockford. Bob and Doris farmed in Monroe Center and New Milford from 1950 to 1959 when they moved to the present farm in Caledonia where they farmed until 2005. Bob was a member of the Farm Bureau and Pure Milk Association. He was Caledonia Township Highway Commissioner for 12 years, a member of Boone County A.S.C.S for 22 years, president of Capron Rescue Squad for 4 years, past dealer of Archer Petroleum for 18 years and was associated with Vigortone Ag. Products for 8 years. Bob liked to work in his farm shop repairing and building machinery. Survivors include his wife, Doris of Caledonia; children, Dale (Martha) Luckey of Wausau, WI, Roger (Debbie) Luckey of Brainerd, MN, Vickie (Doug) Brinkmeyer of Garden Prairie, Dennis Luckey of Caledonia, Curtis Luckey of Cherry Valley, Wayne (Quinn) Luckey of Caledonia; daughter in-law Connie Luckey of Orfordville, WI, fourteen grandchildren and two great grandsons. Bob is predeceased by his parents, infant daughter and infant sister.

In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established in Bob's name.
