Robert A. Hase, Jr. 55, of Belvidere, died Friday, December 18, 2009 in his home following a sudden illness. He was born March 12, 1954 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Robert A. and Marion (Lundgren) Hase, Sr. He lived most of his life in Belvidere. Bob was a Letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service for ten years. He was a member of the Postal Union. In his spare time, he enjoyed bicycling. Bob is a graduate of Belvidere High School, class of 1972 and in 1976, received his B.A. in Business Administration from Augustana College. He is survived by his father, Robert Hase, Sr. of Belvidere; a sister, Karen (Mike) Frank, of Cherry Valley; a niece, Julie (Chris) Kohley, Rockford; and nephew, Jeffrey (Nicole) Frank, Bloomington, Illinois; and an uncle and aunt, Don and Pat Hase.

Memorials may be made to the family in his name. A memorial fund will be established at a later date.
