Robert L. Hart Jr., 79, lifelong resident of Belvidere, died Saturday September 10, 2005 at his home. He was born August 7, 1926 in Belvidere to Robert and Charlotte (Cronk) Hart. He attended Belvidere schools and later served our country in the US Army in the 101st airborne division then served in the motor pool overseas in Japan at the end of WWII. He married Irene Smith on January 20, 1952 at First United Methodist Church in Belvidere. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.He is survived by his wife of 53 years Irene, son; William (Paula) Hart of Belvidere, daughter; Malvina Jane (Ron) Lutz of League City, TX., 7 grandchildren, sister; Louise Joy Hart of Belvidere. He is predeceased by his parents and brother; Raymond Hart.
