Robert G. Anderson, 54, of Belvidere, slipped quietly into enternity with his family beside him on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 following a short illness. He was born on July 23, 1958 in Belvidere; the son of Calvin W. and Grace (Knutson) Anderson. Bob married Laura (Wiedl) Barry in Belvidere on September 23, 2000. He was employed as a diesel mechanic. Bob is a graduate of Belvidere High School and various trade schools. He was a member of First United Methodist Church; ABATE of Illinois; Motorcycle Riders Foundation; and the VFW Auxiliary. He is survived by his devoted wife, Laura; daughter, Tara (Allan) Doyle; two sons, Kyle (Annie) Anderson; Kolin Anderson; step-daughter, Allison (Nick) Keil; step-son, Adam Barry; six loving grandchildren; sister, Debra (David) Norris, three brothers, Steve Anderson, Chuck (Deb) Anderson, Michael (Theresa) Anderson and close family friend, Denny Spradling. He was preceded in death by his parents.
