Robert LeRoy Anderson, 82, of Belvidere, died Monday, February 20, 2006 in Northwoods Care Center following a lingering illness. Born October 31, 1923 in Rockford, Illinois, son of Glen and Mary (Sinkhorn) Anderson. Lived twenty years in Belvidere, coming here from Alabama and Caledonia, Illinois. Married to Enid Ward in Belvidere, Illinois on January 19, 1951. He was employed as a office manager for a company that designed Waste Water Filters in Birmingham, Alabama and later worked as a computer operator for the Admiral Corporation. Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was very active in Scouting as a Scout Master and Commissioner. In his spare time, he enjoyed wood carving. He is survived by his wife, Enid; three sons, Leslie (Nancy); Brian (Gail); and Keith (Kimberly) Anderson; ten grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; a sister, Marjorie ( Warren) Snyder; and two brothers, Ron (Beverly) and David (Betty) Anderson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
