Rita I. Wilcox of Capron, Illinois died peacefully Sunday, December 3, 2006 at home after a lingering illness. Rita was born December 16, 1956 in Waukegan, IL the daughter of Fred A. and Irene F. (Shugart) Brown. Rita married Larry E. Wilcox on May 7, 1983 in Harvard, IL. She has been a Realtor for 20 years the last eight with Dickerson-Nieman. Rita was a member of the Belvidere Board of Realtors, Rockford Area Association of Realtors, Illinois Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors. She loved her "critters" of her hobby farm; her llamas, donkeys, cats and dogs. Survivors include her husband, Larry E. Wilcox of Capron; daughter, Brandy E. Wilcox of Capron; stepsons, Daniel Wilcox of Belvidere, Loren (Amy) Wilcox of Garden Prairie; grandchildren, Madeline, Molly and Adam; brother, Roger F. (Lynn) Brown of Alaska; sister, Rhonda (Don) Skadow of Rockford; niece, Karen Skadow and nephew, Bobby Skadow.Rita is predeceased by her parents.

A memorial will be established in care of Rita's family.
