Richard "Dick" J. Neumann, 76, of Belvidere, IL, passed away April 17, 2024. He was born on November 3, 1947 in Monroe, WI. The son of Martha (Gempeler) and Paul Neumann. He was a strong willed and hard working man.

Dick was a dedicated provider, he worked for over 35 years at Belvidere Chrysler, in assembly and maintenance. He enjoyed golfing and was an avid Green Bay Packers and NASCAR fan. In 1972 he married Beatrice, they shared 2 children and nearly 25 years of marriage. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his children, Brandi and Brian Neumann; grandchildren, Amaya and Carter; great granddaughter, Brynnleigh; sister, Linda Osborne; niece and nephew, Shannon and Paul Reightley, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

He is predeceased by his wife, Beatrice Neumann; parents, Martha and Paul Neumann, and sister; Bonnie Neumann.

Burial services will be private to family.

A celebration of life will be held between the hours of 3pm to 7pm on Thursday April 25, at the Belvidere VFW post 1461 located at 1310 W Lincoln Ave, Belvidere, IL 61008.
