Rhonda Jean Johnson passed away Saturday, October 20, 2007 at her home of a sudden illness. Rhonda was born July 20, 1963 in Belvidere. She is the daughter of Ron and Jeaneraye (Anderson) Johnson. She graduated form Belvidere High School in 1981. Rhonda was a resident of Belvidere most of her life living in Delavan, Wisconsin for several years. While in Delavan, she taught English to new- arrivals to America. An avid reader, she enjoyed books on any subject. She also worked on genealogy with her late grandmother Guinevere Anderson. Her newest endeavor was the art of cake decorating. Employed at Perkins Restaurant in Rockford, she had wonderful co-workers that were very important to her. She will be missed by her son Corey of Rockford; parents, Ron and Jeaneraye; brothers, Chuck and Craig; sister, Carmen and special nephew Alex all of Belvidere; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Rhonda is preceded in death by her grandparents, Charles and Helen Johnson and Edward and Guinevere Anderson; uncles, Roger and James Anderson, Don Johnson; aunt, Margery Paulson and cousins, Eddie, Gage and Michael Anderson.

A memorial will be established in Rhonda's name and can be given in care of her family.
