Retha Pauline Thomas, 86, of Johnson City, TN, died Saturday, February 18, 2012 in Asbury Place. Born June 5, 1925 in Trammel, Virginia, daughter of Newton Silas and Bessie (Sykes) Bailey. Was married to William S. Thomas. Formerly employed by 3M Company and former member of the Women of the Moose, Belvidere.Survivors include her sons Michael (Janice) of Yorkville, IL, Gary (Donna) of Church Hill, TN, 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, sisters Virgie (Stafford) Sutherland and Mary (Kenneth) Meahler, and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, husband William, and brothers William and Joe Bailey.
