Raymond Yaun, 90, of Belvidere, died Wednesday, May 5, 2010 in his home following a long illness. He was born March 22, 1920 in Green County, Wisconsin, the son of Casper and Anna (Keppler) Yaun. He married Anna E. Fiez in New Glarius, Wisconsin on June 14, 1948. Raymond was a farmer in the New Glarus area before he and his wife, Anna moved to Belvidere in 1969 where he worked as a Fork Lift Driver for Chrysler Corporation. He and Anna attended St. John United Church of Christ. Raymond was a member of the U.A.W. local 1268, and active member of the Eagle's Club where he served as president. He had the ability to fix anything. Raymond is survived by his wife, Anna, of Belvidere; seven children, Donna (Jim) Keacher, Stacy, MN; Gary (Nancy) Yaun, Belleville, WI; Sue (Duane) Pope, New Glarus, WI; John "J.C." Yaun, Monticello, WI; Vicki (George) Freise, Marengo, IL; Teresa (Ray) Schell, Port Deposit, MD; Roberta "Bobbie" (Jim) Mueller, Belvidere, IL; 13 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; a sister, Rose Rychnovsky, Marshfield, WI; Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, two sons, Richard Allen and Raymond Kent Yaun; seven brothers and two sisters.
