Raymond J. Okulski, 89, of Wilmington, passed away peacefully, Thursday, October 20, 2016 in his daughter's home. Ray was born December 13, 1926 in Chicago, IL, son of Joseph and Stephanie (Hibiski) Okulski. He married the love of his life, Irene Lenz, in November of 1955. Ray was the owner and operator of Town Trucking for more than 50 years. He was a very talented musician, who exceled in playing the trumpet, harmonica, guitar and the drums. Ray was an excellent joke teller, who loved to get a laugh out of everyone. In his younger years, he loved dancing, especially the polka. Ray was a lifetime member of the Chicago Musicians Union.

Ray is loved and missed by his children, William (Larisa Lenz) Okulski of Schaumburg; and Barbara (Dave) LeRoy of Belvidere; grandson, Matthew (Jennifer) Moran of Belvidere; great-grandchildren, Dominic and Callie Moran of Belvidere; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Irene, and five siblings.
