Randall K. "Randy" Jensen, 62, of Poplar Grove and formerly of Cherry Valley, IL died Tuesday morning, January 30, 2007 in his home, surrounded by his loving family after an 8 ½ month battle with cancer. Randy was born July 7, 1944 in Belvidere, IL the son of Karl F. and Carol (Morgan) Jensen. Randy married Anna L. Saari on July 1, 1967 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Belvidere. Randy worked as a computer programmer for Ingersoll Milling Co in Rockford for 34 years and owned a trucking business with his son Don for two years. Randy served our country in the US Air Force from 1962 through 1966. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, American Legion Boone Post 77; he loved to fish, attend auctions, ride motorcycles and was a "Jack of all Trades".Survivors include his wife, Anna of Poplar Grove, Mother, Carol of Belvidere; children, Don (Susan) of Freeport, IL, Brian (Melissa) of Belvidere, Holly (Dennis) Thomas of Rockford; grandchildren, Kaytlyin and Erika Thomas, Dakota and Lucas Jensen.; Sister, Judy (David) Ehlen of Santee, Ca and brother, Ronald (Mary) Jensen of Loves Park, IL as well as nieces and nephews.Randy is predeceased by his father, Karl and father-in-law and mother- in-law, Donald and Margaret Saari.
