Randall "Randy" W. Gahl, 64, of Belvidere, IL passed away peacefully, Sunday, October 14, 2018. Randy was born March 21, 1954 in Woodstock, IL, the son of Donald and Shirley (Pollnow) Gahl. He was a graduate of Page Park in Rockford, IL. After graduation, Randy worked many jobs. Beginning at Illinois Growth Enterprises, making ceramics, windchimes, and other crafts which were sold to the community. After, he held a position at Pioneer Center in Woodstock, IL. The last position he held was packaging at Milestone Industries in Rockford. Randy was a hard worker and always very proud of his work. Spending time with family and friends meant so much to Randy. He enjoyed music, dancing, Uno and bowling. He was proud of his participation with the Special Olympics.

Randy is loved and missed by his sisters, Diane Gahl-Brockmann and Jodi (Bill) Bindl; nieces and nephews, Mattie, Garrett, Ashley, Michael, and Emily. He is preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Brian Gahl.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave., Belvidere, IL. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services. Pastor Alan Buss to officiate.  Burial at Union Cemetery in Union, IL. Memorials in Randy's name may be made out to the family.
