Ramona A. Winn, 93, of Belvidere, IL passed peacefully into eternal life, Tuesday, July 16, 2013 in Swedish-American Hospital Emergency Room following a sudden illness. She was born on November 25, 1919 in Brandon, WI; the daughter of Steven and Carrie (Looman) Westhuis. Ramona married Lester "Bob" Winn in Alto, WI on October 29, 1938. She was employed as a cook at the Huddle Restaurant for 20 years prior to retirement. She was a member of Hope Reformed Church which merged with Westminster Presbyterian Church, Rockford, IL. Ramona is survived by her five children, Nancy (Paul) Wolske, Green Valley, AZ; Stanley (Kay) Winn, Garden Prairie, IL; Lucinda Winn, Rockford, IL; Ravona (A. Alan) Johnson, Indianapolis, IN; Rev. Cary (Betsy) Winn, Racine, WI; ten grandchildren, Roxane Wolske; Shane (Lisa) Winn; Janna (Pete) Tichenor; Greg (Jennie) Winn; Darcey Johnstone; Bryce (Amy) Johnson; Bradley (Sara) Johnson; Michael (Kristina) Winn; Matthew (fiancé, Gina Bruns) Winn; Erin Winn.Twelve great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; a sister, Catherine (Charles) Gerritsen; two sisters-in-law, Ruby May Westhuis and Ruby Volkman Westhuis; numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, "Bob"; two brothers, Albertus and Andy Westhuis; a sister-in-law, Alice Krueger Tank; two brothers-in-law, Cecil and wife, Annis Winn and Melvin and wife, Evelyn Winn.
