Phyllis Mae Blair, 87, of Belvidere, passed away Thursday, April 7, 2016 in Heritage Manor in Robinson, IL. Born February 28, 1929, in Rockford, IL, daughter of Fremont and Abbie (Carlson) Paulson. She Married Morris L. "Bud" Blair on April 22,1950 in Belvidere, IL. Phyllis worked for Belvidere High School, Boone County Farm Services and Rock Valley Garden Center. She enjoyed baking, cake decorating, sewing, quilting, singing, Belvidere Women's Club, shopping and gardening. Phyllis loved to be around people and loved to visit with family and friends.

Phillis is loved and will be missed by her children, LeaVone (Richard) Johnson of Robinson, IL,  Wade Blair of Watertown, WI; grandchildren, Paul (Cheryl), Elizabeth (Goran), Courtney and Ryan, great-grandchildren Andrew, Dylan,Alexandra, ,Jacob, Evan, Adrian, Ezekiel. She is preceded in death by her husband, Morris, parents and 11 brothers and sisters.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 14, 2016 at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave, Belvidere IL, 61008 with Rev. Dan Schenck officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at the Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Sunset Memorial Gardens at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N.
