Pearl G. Schmidt, 104, of Poplar Grove, Illinois passed away quietly in her sleep Friday, February 18, 2005 in her home. She was born March 21, 1900 in Bridgeport, Connecticut to William and Rosena (Altofer) McLosa. Pearl married Herbert Schmidt in Chicago, Illinois on February 6, 1919. She is survived by Son, George (Helen) Schmidt, Poplar Grove; a daughter, Doris Britton Cascio, Rockford; four grandsons, Bill, Rick and Tom Britton; and Allen Schmidt; one granddaughter, Karen Richardson; ten great-grandchildren; eight great-greatgrandchildren; a brother,LeRoy (Marie) Albers, Chicago.Preceded in death by husband, granddaughter, Carol Britton, parents and two brothers.To honor Pearl's wishes, no funeral services are planned.
