Pearl Earline Drews, 92, of Belvidere, IL, died February 26, 2022, in Belvidere. She was born November 2, 1929, in Cordova, Alabama daughter to Monroe B. Key and Eula Woodruff. She married her sweetheart, Leonard Drews April, 1948, in Mississippi. She worked as a Blood Bank hostess for 10 years but her pride and joy was taking care of her family. She lived for her kids and grandkids, loved to plant flowers in the spring and enjoyed motorcycle rides on her son, Eddie's Harley.
She is loved and will be missed by her children, Douglas Drews, Linda (Rick) Hermanson, Eddie Drews, Cathy Drews, Cindy ( Steve) Page, Chris (Catherine) Drews, and Gary Drews; grandchildren, Sarah Drews, Daniel Drews, Debbie Ball, Rachell, Trojhiar, Alan Drews, Aaron Drews, Nathan Drews, William Phelps, Jason Drews, step grandson, Justin Gilmore, Shane Page, Celeste Page, Joey Drews and Jeena Gerke; great- grandchildren, Erica, Victor, Juan Douglas, Morgan, Catherine , Madden, Macey, Evelyn, Alyssa, Auame, Mayumi, Ezra, Isabel, and OHanna, Noah, Isaiah, and Nevaeh; and great-great grandchild, Hazel Mae.
Pearl is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leonard; and sons, Lee and George Drews.
A memorial visitation will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, March 5, 2022, at Belvidere First Assembly of God, 1105 7th Ave, Belvidere, IL 61008. A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. Pastor David Smith will officiate. To light a candle or share a condolence, please visitwww.andersonfcs.com.
