Paul A. Volkman, 53, went to heaven to fish with his sister and mother on Monday, July 4, 2016. He was born on February 21, 1963 to Melvin and Maxine (Redmann) Volkman in Winona, MN. He lived in Belvidere, IL for most of his life. Paul recently moved to Green Valley, AZ to be by his only son, Branden Volkman. He graduated from Belvidere High School as valedictorian in 1980. He worked for many years at DiversaPack in Marengo, IL. He enjoyed a variety of rock music and many Clint Eastwood movies. His favorite hobby was fishing, either by himself or with his sister and best friend, Debbie.

Paul is survived by his only son, Branden Volkman; his father, Melvin Volkman, and his sisters, Bonnie (Wayne) VerHagen and Nancy (Lee) Grose; his nieces, Jennifer VerHagen, Amy Heller, Stephanie Grose, Autumn Grose; along with his nephews, Bradley VerHagen and Brian Heller. He is preceded in death by his mother, Maxine, and his sister, Debbie Heller.
