Obituary

Paul Temple, 62, passed away on March 6, 2026.

Paul was born on November 25, 1963, to Dale and Carol (Olsen) Temple. He married the love of his life, Tami (Mulholland) Temple, on July 5, 2014. Together they shared 20 wonderful years filled with laughter, adventure, and devotion to family.

Paul was a skilled mechanic and a dedicated farmer who took pride in working with his hands and helping others. For over 40 years, he proudly owned and operated Logan Ave Mobile, where he became a trusted mechanic and friend to many in the community. He also served in the United States Army. While his time in service was brief, it was meaningful and impactful to him.

Paul was well known for his outgoing personality, he truly never met a stranger. He could strike up a conversation with anyone and often did. He was a member of the Leroy Community Grange and the men's golf league, and he rarely missed his beloved Tuesday golf games.

Family was everything to Paul. He was the kind of man everyone depended on, the family's fixer, problem solver, and safety blanket. Whether it was repairing something broken, building something new, or remodeling his children's homes, Paul was always there to help. He was a constant presence in their lives. Known for his big sense of humor, he loved pulling pranks, being goofy, and making the people around him laugh.

Paul also enjoyed spending time outdoors and having fun with family and friends. He loved riding snowmobiles and side-by-sides and making trips up north where barhopping with friends was always part of the adventure. He also loved his dogs, Gus and Sadie, who brought him a great deal of companionship and joy.

He is survived by his loving wife, Tami Temple; his children, Colton (Kelsey) Friemuth, Bo (Hannah) Dylak, Addison (Michael Karlson) Dylak, Nicky (Stephen) Gardner, Justin Temple, Megan Jones ; his grandchildren, Logan, Kacey, Brody, Isabella, Ashlynn, Sierra, JJ, and Dean; his parents, Dale and Carol Temple; his brothers, Jerry (Wendi) Temple and Rocky (Denise) Temple; his sisters, Debbie (Jeff) Cummings and Shawn Temple; his in-laws, John and Carol Mulholland; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many dear friends.

Paul will be remembered for his kindness, humor, generosity, and the steady presence he provided to those who loved him. His family will forever cherish the memories, laughter, and love he gave so freely.

A visitation for Paul will be held Monday, March 16, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. A funeral service will take place Tuesday, March 17, at 10:00 a.m., at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, located at 218 W. Hurlbut Ave., Belvidere, IL.
