Paul C. Saleh, 56, of Rockford, Illinois passed away peacefully in Niles, Illinois. He was born on September 19, 1962 in Chicago, Illinois, son of Emil and Norma (Stead) Saleh. Paul married his sweetheart, Sherri Suski on October 15, 1994 in Rockford.

Paul received his college degree and became self-employed in the investment industry for many years. Paul attended Heartland Community Church in Rockford. Paul was a family man who absolutely loved the Lord, his wife and children with all his heart.  He had a one in a million magnetic personality and was very witty and intelligent. Paul lit up a room wherever he went and could put a smile on anyone's face. Paul enjoyed chatting for hours, sipping on good English tea and listening to classical music. Paul loved to take long, leisurely strolls outdoors. He will be loved and dearly missed by his wife, Sherri; daughter, Emily Saleh; son, Zachary Saleh; son, Joshua Saleh; son, Paul Saleh the II; son, John Paul Saleh; brother, Phil (Colleen) Saleh; sister, Jane (Al) Callaway; sister, Renee (Rob) Erffmeyer; Father, Emil Saleh; and many nieces and nephews.

Paul is preceded in death by his mother, Norma.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave., in Belvidere. A visitation will be at 10 a.m. until the time of service, Tuesday, December 11, 2018. Pastor John Brennan will officiate. Burial will be at Belvidere Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family.
