Paul L. Njos, 78, of Belvidere, died Friday, January 11, 2013 in Swedish-American Medical Center, Emergency Department, Belvidere, after a sudden illness. He was born May 6, 1934 in Austin, Minnesota; the son of Peter and Laura (Williamson) Njos. Paul farmed in Minnesota before working on the assembly line for Chrysler Corporation. He was a member of the U.A.W. Local 1268. Paul also enjoyed tinkering in the garage. He is survived by his three sons, LaVern (Kathy) Njos, Belvidere; Donn Njos, Minneapolis, Minnesota; David Njos, Belvidere; two daughters, Nancy Njos, Poplar Grove, Illinois; June Njos-McCollum, Rockford; former wife, Janice Njos, Poplar Grove, Illinois; nine grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Larry; four brothers and two sisters.
